You can call it a comeback, because it's been gone for years. A favorite fast food chain is officially opening in Michigan after being gone for decades.

Jack in the Box is back in Michigan!

There has been a long hiatus since Jack in the Box has been in the Mitten State. There were locations in the Detroit area back in the 1970s. However, the fast food chain has been gone for over 40 years. Now, the newest grand opening is around the corner.

When Does Michigan's First Jack in the Box Open?

Jack in the Box will cut the ribbon on its Battle Creek, Michigan location on Monday, June 15. They'll be open bright and early at 6 a.m. serving there signature Sourdough Breakfast Burger.

Speaking of signature items... I've never had Jack in the Box, so I find it very interesting and a little funny that this national burger chain is, perhaps, most well known for its tacos.

Where Is Michigan's New Jack in the Box Located?

If you want to make the trek to treat your taste buds to some Jack in the Box, you can find it located at 2588 Capital Ave SW in Battle Creek. And, once the grand opening happens, that location will be open 24 hours a day for dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile ordering.

This isn't the only Jack in the Box slated for Michigan—there are four more locations planned for the Mitten State. The Jack in the Box website lists a location in Westland as "coming September 2026". But, the locations for the remaining three are unknown at this time.
