U-M Deal with Nike is Richest Ever

A week after the University of Michigan agreed to a 11-year deal with Nike, taking effect next August, the financial numbers weer made public on Wednesday.

The new deal will pay Michigan $169 million during the years 2016-2027.  It surpasses Notre Dame's 10-year, $90 million with Under Armour that took effect last year.

Michigan has been outfitted by adidas since 2007.  The 2015-16 school year is the final year under the adidas contract.
