Tigers Outfielder Out 4-6 Weeks

The Detroit Tigers have announced that outfielder Cameron Maybin will be out for the next 4-6 weeks due to a fracture of his left wrist.

He was hit by a pitch in Wednesday afternoon's Grapefruit League game against the New York Yankees.

Maybin was acquired this past offseason in a trade with the Atlanta Braves.  He was expected to be the starting centerfielder on Opening Day.
