Papa Al's Mexican American Restaurant in Genesee County is officially open for business.

The new family-owned and operated Flint eatery opened its doors yesterday, Sunday, October 19th, 2025. From all accounts, it was a solid success.

The menu appears to have something for everyone. From breakfast options to lunch and dinner selections, appetizers, kids' menu, desserts, and more.

Papa Al's is at 4492 Richfield Road in Flint. You may know the place as the former Wah Nam Restaurant.

What are the hours at Papa Al's Mexican American Restaurant in Flint?

You can enjoy food at Papa Al's seven days a week. Hours (for now) are Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Papa Al’s Mexican American Restaurant will be accepting take-out orders daily from 2:00 PM to 8:45 PM, until further notice.
