Step Into The World Of Gilmore Girls In Lapeer

Downtown Lapeer will be the backdrop for an upcoming Gilmore Girls celebration, Stars Hollow Harvest, hosted by Axecadia.

For one special night, downtown Lapeer will turn into Stars Hollow, the cherished setting of Gilmore Girls. This event celebrates the show's 25th anniversary and pays tribute to the essence of small towns.

Events like this pop up all over the country for Gilmore Girls fans, but this will be the very first one right here in Lapeer County.

When is the Gilmore Girls event in Lapeer?

Stars Hollow Harvest is Friday, October 17th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Details are still being finalized, but here’s what we know so far: local businesses will be embracing the charm of Stars Hollow, providing numerous fun photo opportunities throughout downtown. Guests will also have the chance to participate in a classic Town Hall Meeting, Stars Hollow style.

Guests will love visiting the Dragonfly Inn, a beloved location from Gilmore Girls. For one night only, Hummingbird House Designs will be transformed into this iconic inn.

If you are unfamiliar with Gilmore Girls, the show follows the quick-talking, coffee-obsessed mother-daughter duo, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), as they navigate life in the quirky, close-knit town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
