Is Zaxbys Coming to Lansing, Michigan?

Chicken tenders seem to be on the minds, plates, and stomachs of people all across America. Why else would there be so many restaurants dedicated to just chicken?

In the greater Lansing area, we have quite a few favorite chains available. Places like Chick-fil-A, Popeye's, KFC, Wingstop, and Raising Cane's. However, even with these notable names, there are still some missing tenders on the menu.

Zaxbys offers one of those missing tenders.

Currently, the Georgia-based chain has almost 1,000 locations across 18 states. However, Michigan isn't one of them. Recently though, Zaxbys has admitted to having their eye on a greater Lansing area location.

Zaxbys Expansion Plans for the Midwest

The Lansing State Journal reports that Zaxbys Chief Development Officer Mike Mettler said, "The greater Lansing area continues to grow, supported by a mix of longtime residents, students and professionals...It offers an ideal environment for Zaxbys flexible store formats." Those formats: large dine-in, small dine-in, and drive-thru only.

Zaxbys is looking for potential all across greater Lansing, so we might hear about a location "coming soon", sooner than you think.

Other Restaurant Chains Lansing Residents Want

Zaxbys is definitely one of the yummier chain restaurants that we'd like to see come to Lansing. And since they plan to add about 50 more locations this year, why not make Lansing one of them?
