What's for Dinner?
It's a conversation that repeats itself in households across Mid-Michigan every day.
Every once in a while, though, you know exactly what you want. The catch is, it's clear on the other side of town, and you really don't feel like driving all the way over there. So you settle for something else close by that doesn't measure up and you end up going to bed sad.

Oh wait. Is that just me?
Let's take steak, for example. Can I cook it at home? Yes. Are there local places that do it better? Also yes.
For my money, the best (affordable) steak around Lansing can be found Lucky's Steakhouse in Okemos. A 16-ounce ribeye for $25.99? Maybe some stuffed mushrooms to start? Absolutely delicious.
The Problem With Limited Locations
Here's the problem though. I don't live in Okemos. And the number of orange barrels I encounter any which way I try to get there is downright demoralizing. The drive keeps me from enjoying Lucky's as much as I otherwise would. It would be great if they had a location closer to me.

Same goes for Savvy Sliders, or even Chili's for that matter. It would seem that Lansing is a big enough city that it could support having multiple locations of some of these places.

And so, this is me officially crying out, hoping to be heard. Here are 11 Lansing area restaurants that could use some additional locations.
