A New Hot ‘n Now Is Almost Ready to Open in Michigan
Attention Michiganders who have a cult-like obsession with Hot 'n Now, there's good news! We are officially one step closer to the next Hot 'n Now location opening up.
Where Is the New Hot 'n Now Opening?
As of this morning (Tuesday, August 26), the new drive-thru restaurant was delivered to the site of its soon-to-be-location in Wayland, which is halfway between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.
This is a HUGE deal for so many Michiganders who've been chomping at the bit since it was announced that Hot 'n Now would be expanding in Michigan back in January this year.
When Will Michigan's Newest Hot 'n Now Open?
At this time, there's no word on an exact opening date, as Consumer's Energy has to hook up electrical service, so it is partially based on that timeline. Otherwise, the building is ready to go—it came pre-built (prewired, pre-plumbed, and inspected) and gets assembled on site.

When this iconic burger joint eventually opens, it will be open every day of the week at 10:30 a.m., and will close at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursdays and at 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Lucky for fans, this isn't the only location on the horizon. Of course, we have the original "last bastion" of Hot 'n Now in Michigan (for now) which is located in Sturgis. We'll soon have the one opening in Wayland in addition to one in Alpena.
There's even a good chance we could see one in the Metro Detroit area. But, will we ever see one return to Lansing?
Could Hot 'n Now Return to Lansing?
At its height, there were six Hot 'n Now locations scattered across the greater Lansing area. Now all we're left is nostalgia and the option of taking a road trip. I'm sure Lansing would love to see this favorite inexpensive burger joint return.
