Amazon shoppers here in Michigan, beware. There is a massive recall currently underway in the state of Michigan that you will want to be aware of. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has flagged several different products that were sold on Amazon that could put your health and safety at risk.

From power banks to baby gear, the recall list is long, and there is a good chance you may have purchased something on the list.

Scope of the Recall: What Products Are Affected

The biggest recall concern is around the Anker power banks, about 481,000 units in total. The CPSC says that certain models have been overheating, and with that, the concerns over fire and burns are pretty high.

That is not something you will want sitting in your backpack or plugged in at your house. If you own one, you are being urged to stop using it immediately. Customers can check model numbers and go through Anker's recall site to request refunds.

Other Items Recalled from Amazon

Anker isn't the only brand being called out in this recall, though. A number of baby products that were sold under smaller Amazon sellers have been pulled as well. The LXDHSTRA baby loungers and crib bumpers are being recalled over suffocation hazards. The YooxArmor children’s helmets are also being recalled after failing federal safety standards, which is a danger to the kids they are supposed to be protecting.

The Youbeien crib mobile is also being included in the recall, as the remote control has a battery compartment that has been known to become loose, creating a choking hazard for young children.

Another Item Being Recalled Right Now

On top of all the products being recalled right now, the portable misting fans (the IcyBreeze Buddy model) are another, due to overheating issues during charging. Combining all those together, it is a clear list of widely different products that people could use daily.

If you have purchased any of the following products through Amazon, you should take a few minutes to confirm the products you have purchased and return them for a refund.
