Harry Potter Comes To Life Inside Massive LED Dome At Downtown Detroit’s Cosm
If you were a fan of the Harry Potter series, there is a new shared reality experience you will be able to take part in this Halloween that will put you inside Hogwarts as you watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Cosm Detroit is an immersive sports and entertainment venue that will be opening its fourth location in downtown Detroit on September 10, and with it will be all kinds of shared reality experiences, including a showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Instead of just watching the movie, you’re going to be placed inside the Harry Potter world, surrounded by Hogwarts and magical details and effects that will extend beyond the screen while under a massive LED dome.
The experience will be taking place starting opening day, September 10, through the 30th as they explain how this new concept will be available to the public:

Hogwarts, the Wizarding World, and other environments are brought to life around the audience, with hidden details and surprises for fans to discover. Cosm has created an Enchanted Experience Menu starting at $40 per ticket, which can be added when you purchase your seats. Cosm says adding the menu during checkout saves 20% compared with purchasing it at the venue.
On top of the shared reality experience, they’re also going to be coming up with themed menu items, including bottled butterbeer, housemaid, shepherd's pie, a chocolate frog, and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans.
