Orlando Magic Hire Former MSU Guard As New Head Coach

UPDATE: The Magic have officially hired Skiles, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Former MSU Basketball star Scott Skiles is in contract negotiations to become the new head coach of the Orlando Magic.

Skiles was a star guard under Jud Heathcote at Michigan State from 1982-86.  He played in the NBA for five teams, including Orlando from 1986-96.

He's been a head coach in the NBA previously with Milwaukee, Chicago, and Phoenix.
